Proper Punctuation Matters

I’ve seen quite a few memes over the last year or so that highlight the importance of properly placed punctuation (say that three times fast 😉 ). Here are a couple of my favorites…

"Let's eat Grandma!" or "Let's eat -- comma -- Grandma!" Punctuation saves lives.
An English professor wrote the words: "A woman without her man is nothing" on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly. All of the males in the class wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing." All of the females in the class wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing." Punctuation is powerful.
