Global Proposal & Donor Documents Editor, Pact
Washington, DC, December 2015 to Present
First lead editor for the organization, focused on improving the quality of Pact’s donor-facing materials, including proposals, donor reports, and outreach materials, by setting organization-wide writing and formatting standards and through strategic internal communications, staff training, and mentoring. Edited more than 110 documents in my first year alone.

Independent Editor
December 2012 to Present
Skilled and quick editor (see Recommendations) specializing in large-scale documents and document packages, such as training or technical manuals, qualitative and quantitative survey protocols and reports, and advocacy and outreach materials. Completed projects for The TOPS Program, Food for the Hungry, Helen Keller International, and CORE Group.

Communications and Documentation Specialist, Save the Children|The TOPS Program
Washington, DC, November 2014 to December 2015
Sole communications professional supporting this learning and knowledge management project. Responsibilities included directing project branding, producing deliverables, creating the project style guide, maintaining the project website, and representing the project at events.

Senior Communications Associate, FHI 360|Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance Project (FANTA)
Washington, DC, August 2008 to August 2012
Began as a temporary hire (August 2008 – March 2009). FHI 360 acquired the programs, assets, and expertise of AED in July 2011. Was employed with AED from March 2009 – June 2011. Promoted from Communications Associate to Senior Communications Associate in 2011. Managed programmatic reporting activities to USAID, edited project deliverables and publications, trained technical staff on project communications processes, and managed the project intranet.

Communications Associate, AED|Expanded and Sustained Access to Financial Services (ESAF) Program
Ramallah, West Bank, Palestinian Territories, July to August 2010
This position with the Expanded and Sustained Access to Financial Services Program was part of the STAR Program at AED, giving headquarters-based staff the opportunity to gain additional field experience. Visited project grantees to gather content to create success stories and created fact sheets and briefs.
